Lets play paintball.

What is paintball?

Paintball is a sport in which players compete, in teams or individually, to eliminate opponents by hitting them with capsules containing food colouring and gelatin (referred to as paintball) propelled from a device called a paintball marker. Paintballs have a non-toxic, biodegradable, water soluble mineral-oil. The game is regularly played at a sporting level with organized competition involving worldwide leagues, tournaments, professional teams, and players. Paintball technology is also used by military forces, law enforcement, para-military and security organizations to supplement military training, riot response, and non-lethal suppression of dangerous suspects.

How to play it?

Games are played on outdoor or indoor fields of varying sizes. A game field is scattered with natural or artificial terrain, which players use for tactical cover. Rules for playing paintball vary, but can include capture the flag, elimination, ammunition limits, defending or attacking a particular point or area, or capturing objects of interest hidden in the playing area. Depending on the variant played, games can last from seconds to hours, or even days in scenario play.

Introduction

This is us!! =)

Who are we?

Hello everyone!

Welcome to our official year 6 Cerdas Blog Group Project website. First and foremost, we would like to thank to all of you for willing to spend some times reading our blog. Basically, 6 Cerdas consists of 40 students where there are Malays, Chinese, Indians and few Siamese.

What do we do in this blog?

We are given a task to work on a project called ' X-games, X-life'. Therefore, in this blog, there will be many entries about varieties of X-games or extreme sport such as paintball, rock-climbing, skateboarding and others that could be found in world. It is a very challenging project; however, we feel that there are many interesting that we could explore throughout the process of completing the project.

This project would hopefully be able to change the negative perception of people or society at large towards the unpleasant connection between the X-games and troublemakers. We want the people to know that X-games are very healthy and fun activity to be done by everyone of us, and it should not be associated or connected with troublemakers such as drug addict. In addition, we also would like to create awareness in everyone towards the importance of healthy living style.

Why X-games?

The reason why we have decided to talk about X-games in this blog because we believe that X-games is totally a new genre of sport or game in Malaysia. Therefore, we feel that it would be very interesting and good if we could tell the readers about the existence of fun X-games in Malaysia. We also hope that this blog could stimulate the positive interest among the teenagers in X-games.

Our hope...

We hope that everyone will enjoy all the entries that we would post soon. We would love to see some comments from our readers regarding this projects.
